I work with children between the ages of 4 to 12, dealing with topics in English, Math, science., school projects . The students interest, strengths and ability will be tapped to work on topics posing difficulties.The student will be facilitated to own the learning process.

English/mathematics for primary school learners with special needs e.g. ADHD, dyslexia, dyscalculia, dysgraphia, learning difficulties, etc. You will be taught skills and strategies to help you learn and reach your full potential. The child will be able to read and write English within less time and will be fluent too. The phonics approach is being used where the child will learn letter sounds, digraphs, blending and using the sounds to read and write the words, phrases, and sentences. The child will also learn various spelling rules and build up vocabulary.

My sessions will include sensory integration techniques, behavior modification, physical therapy, occupational therapy, speech therapy, according to the child's need and requirement along with parent counseling as well as education.

Behavioral, Emotional, and Social Difficulties (BESD) are a type of special educational needs in which children/young people have severe difficulties in managing their emotions and behavior. They often show inappropriate responses and feelings to situations.

Some children and young people find it difficult to listen, understand and communicate with others and may need support to develop the surprising number of skills involved. Children with SLCN may have difficulty with only one speech, language, or communication skill, or with several. Children may have difficulties with listening and understanding or with talking or both. Each child also has a unique combination of strengths. This means that every child with SLCN is different.

A dyslexic person perceives his environment in a different way: his attention diminishes when confronted with symbols such as letters and numbers. Due to a deficiency of his partial performances, his perception of these symbols is different from the perception of non-dyslexic people. This results in difficulties when learning to read and write and do arithmetic. Beginning with basic sounds and constant reviewing of the concepts taught.
