This program is designed to enhance soft skill development for young children. Kethlyn aims on introducing stories, games, and activities that will encourage participants to identify the issue, brainstorm on the solution, explore and experiment, and communicate effectively. Kethlyn will also tie in the activities with Everyday life, making it relatable for the participants. Kethlyn hopes that this program will encourage self-expression and creativity in order to boost the participants’ self-esteem and confidence. The program also aims to enhance the participants’ teamwork, perseverance, and dedication towards completing the tasks that have been laid out for them. Special consideration has been acknowledged to the varying needs of the participants thus scaffolding and support will be provided.

About Tutor

Kethlyn has been a freelance trainer since 2013, specializing in Visual Arts, Life skills, Parent-child workshops, and career talks. During her time as a trainer, Kethlyn attained Promising Star Trainer and Star Trainer awards for 3 consecutive years. Kethlyn is a MOE registered trainer, and an AMIS, and a PAL certified trainer. Additionally, Kethlyn attained a Diploma with Merit in Early Childhood Education in 2012, a Certificate in teaching Speech and Drama in 2014, and a Certificate of Achievement for 'En Route to Inclusivity' (NAC-AEP) in 2020.
Kethlyn is inspired by children and youths and enjoys working with them and adults as she believes that learning is a never-ending journey. She believes that so much more can be done for the community and she is excited to be a part of the discussion and works.
